Dr Sanchari Deb is a NUAcT Fellow in the School of Engineering at Newcastle University. Her research focuses on electric vehicle charging infrastructure, smart and local energy systems, data-driven planning, and equity in low-carbon mobility transitions. She works across engineering, energy systems, transport, and social justice, combining technical modelling with participatory and interdisciplinary approaches to support fairer and more inclusive pathways to net zero.
