Our current research programme includes a £3 million Flexible Fund that is being allocated via a series of three open calls. The first call was completed in early 2021, while the second call is currently ongoing. The third, and final round of funding will be announced in the autumn of 2021.

We have launched an online consultation to help inform the development of this final funding call. We want to engage with the UK energy community to gather views on which topics should be targeted with the call for proposals. Topics should be aligned with our remit and follow an interdisciplinary whole-systems approach.
