In the second instalment of our new podcast ‘Talking Energy’, Dr Steve Carver from the University of Leeds joins Jessica Bays, UKERC’s Head of Communications and Policy to discuss green on green impacts.
Drawing on findings from the Identifying potential locations for energy infrastructure project which forms part of the ADVENT programme, they discuss the challenge of managing conflicts between energy demand and supply, with landscape conservation and biodiversity goals. Focusing on onshore wind turbines, they discuss key areas such as policy development, mapping methodologies and tools, and public perceptions of renewable energy infrastructure.
