The Energy Data Centre, based at the STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, provides a comprehensive showcase of UK energy research and is an invaluable tool for researchers and other stakeholders.

It hosts energy data for users in the public, private, and third sectors, ensuring future access to valuable datasets. Today, the Centre has launched a new website, with a host of new functionalities for the energy research community.

The revitalised platform will include:

• A searchable gateway to energy research data, projects, publications and visualisations
• Insights and updates from the EDC, UKERC and wider energy research communities
• Access to essential resources to support best practice in data management
• Assistance and tools to make working with energy data easier and more effective.

The website currently hosts 8,885 projects, 364 data sets and 1,846 publications in its catalogue available to users worldwide.
