Xinyao is currently studying heating system decarbonisation and macro-economic impacts modelling in the Centre for Environment and Sustainability (CES) at University of Surrey (UoS). She has multidisciplinary backgrounds in energy and environment, environmental pollution control and management. With diverse energy modelling experiences (e.g., accounting, optimisation, simulation) and software skills (e.g., MATLAB, R, Python), her future research interests are focused on low carbon energy technologies, environmental-energy-economic system analysis, and climate change mitigation and adaptation.
