Phil graduated in Economics from The University of Hull. This was followed by sixteen years as a business analyst and project manager in the London wholesale insurance markets – developing, implementing and supporting a range of business-critical transaction processing and financial systems.
He has an MSc and PhD from Imperial College, and has been a researcher at Imperial since 2005. He now leads systematic reviews and rapid evidence assessments within the Evidence for Decision Making capability.
