This Meeting Report summarises the findings of a three-day symposium and workshop held in June 2007 to discuss how to achieve a sustainable low-carbon society. The first workshop produced an analysis of the various models and modelling techniques that are being used internationally. In designing the second workshop a greater focus was placed on the implementation of policies and measures to achieve low-carbon societies.
