In December we launched our flagship Review of Energy Policy 2023 at Carlton House Terrace, London.

The focus of the Review was on priorities a new government should address in the first 100 days of taking office, and it covered the topics of geopolitics, local energy, the environment, infrastructure transitions, mobility, heat and industry.

The event chaired by Dr Joanne Wade OBE, Association for Decentralised Energy, showcased two of these topic areas:

• current and future challenges to UK gas security delivered by Prof Mike Bradshaw, Warwick Business School, and
• local and regional energy systems delivered by Prof Jan Webb MBE, University of Edinburgh.

Presentations were then followed by responses from panellists and then questions from attendees. The panel members were:

• Dr David Joffe, Climate Change Committee
• Dr Doug Parr, Greenpeace
• Vivienne Geard, EY.
