Last year we helped host the two-day ECR Net Zero Conference, in conjunction with UKCCSRC, C-DICE, CREDS, ERA, EnergyREV, IDRIC and TFI Network+. The conference brought together early career researchers (ECRs) from across the net zero community and included a mix of keynote presentations, parallel sessions (skills-based and topic based) and a networking dinner.
The conference provided an opportunity for research organisations and ECRs to meet and network with peers within the wider net zero research community, to build a collaborative community.
In this video, we caught up with three ECR’s at the conference: Abdul’Aziz Aliyu, Matthieu Blondeel and Harriet Barton, who shared their thoughts on the conference and why events such as the ECR conference are so important.
