UKRI is excited to announce the inaugural UK AI Research Symposium (UKAIRS), showcasing the very best of UKRI-funded artificial intelligence research. This symposium aims to bring together researchers, students, and practitioners from across technical disciplines, social sciences, and humanities to present their work, identify cross-fertilisation opportunities, and inform the future of AI research in the UK. 

Important Dates

• Deadline for papers, posters, and demos: 30 April 2025
• Notifications: 21 June 2025
• Registration Opens: 21 June 2025
• Camera ready: 10 July 2025

All deadlines are at the end of the specified day, Anywhere on Earth (GMT – 12)

Areas of Interest

UKRI invite contributions in the following formats:

• World Class Research Track: Already published conference or journal papers.
• Emerging Research: Research and early-stage research (papers, demos, posters).
• Engagement/Satellites/Panel suggestions: Proposals for panel presentations to stimulate cross-community dialogue.

Eligibility

Contributions are invited from researchers, students, and practitioners directly funded by a UKRI project or programme in the last 3 years (since June 2022). Early career researchers are particularly encouraged to submit.
