Heat pumps will be central to the decarbonisation of heating and the removal of fossil gas from the UK’s energy mix.
On the 17th March we hosted a heat pump webinar in which we heard from a range of UK heating experts, who discussed the policies, consumer protection, support and cost reductions needed to enable the deployment of 600,000 heat pumps a year by 2028.
The speakers were: Richard Lowes, Regulatory Assistance Project; Dhara Vyas, Energy UK; Tina Fawcett, Environmental Change Institute at University of Oxford; and Leah Robson, Your Energy Your Way.
