The event will be at Pollock Halls in Edinburgh on 4 February 2025.
The event will cover issues including, but not limited to:
We are looking for sessions that, for example, will help to step up the pace and scale in sectors that have seen little or no reduction in emissions, or generate ideas for partnerships that can realise new technologies or cross sector collaborations that effectively realise the potential co-benefits from climate action.
The event will be in person, hosting around 100 participants in a cabaret-style format. Attendees will include researchers, local and national governments, agencies, regional partnerships, business and delivery organisations and community groups.
We expect sessions will last between 30 minutes and 1 hour and can include presentations, workshops, table discussions and other activities to achieve the aim of the day. A dedicated events manager will support detailed planning and facilitation.
Please submit a proposal of up to 400 words in plain English including:
Please include a short bio or link to online profile of the proposed delivery individual or team.
Proposals should be submitted to ines.crespo@ed.ac.uk and cc’d to annemarte.bergseng@ed.ac.uk by noon on Monday 25 November 2024.
