On 3 October 2024, UKERC and ClimateXChange (CXC) jointly hosted an event in Edinburgh at which our researchers and partners presented and debated their latest research in the context of current and future energy policy in Scotland.

The aim of the event was to foster collaboration between stakeholders from across the energy sector, with attendees from the Scottish Government, industry representatives and the third sector (representing consumers and the environment), as well as academics.

Across five sessions, the event addressed topics from home heating to reform of the electricity market. Recordings of all sessions will be available on this page, starting with Scotland’s just energy transition: Policy and research priorities, a panel discussion chaired by UKERC Director Rob Gross:
