UK Partnering for Accelerated Climate Transitions

Following recent market engagement, we are opening applications to join a of roster of experts to support the UK PACT (Partnering for Accelerated Climate Transitions) Programme in alleviating poverty through reducing emissions across the globe.

UK PACT is a new Government programme that aims to work with partner countries to improve the capacity and capability of key institutions to reduce emissions. The roster of experts will be funded to deliver a programme of peer-to-peer skill-share projects with organisations from UK PACT’s target countries, including: Mexico, Colombia, China, South Africa and Malaysia. In delivering a skill-share, these individuals will use their expertise to provide advice, guidance and support to a counterpart organisation to help drive change and create impact for the project or programme.

UK PACT’s programme objectives are to:
– Work in partnership with countries seeking to improve the capacity and capability of key institutions to reduce emissions
– Focus on implementation and climate ambition, by helping to address barriers, constraints and areas of opportunity at different levels of government based on the country’s political and economic context and sectoral priorities
