EPSRC Decarbonising Transport through Electrification Network Plus (DTE Network+) first funding call

The EPSRC funded DTE Network+ is happy to announce its first funding call.

Up to £120,000 of funding (at 80% Full Economic Costs) is available. There is no minimum project value but please note that no single application will be awarded in excess of £30,000 (80%).

Up to four projects will be awarded on this round. Proposals must be aligned with the scope of the decarbonisation of transport through electrification network workstreams and focus on short and medium-term challenges.

WS1 Vehicles & associated technologies

WS2 Charging infrastructure

WS3 Electricity as a transport fuel

WS4 Smart mobility

It is recommended that you examine the DTE Network+ Framework and Consultation document prior to developing your proposal.

The short and medium term challenges identified in the DTE Network+ “Framework and Consultation” document provides a guideline to the topics to be addressed on this 1st call, however, these are not intended to be exhaustive and projects demonstrated to be in scope will be considered equally.

For maximising the potential of research synergies, the call also offers projects access to facilities, equipment, and expertise from the DTE Network+ partners, affiliated project partners, and a wide range of stakeholders (subject to terms and conditions agreed on a case by case basis).
