Strengthening connections between policymakers and the research through knowledge exchange is fundamental to delivering the ClimateXChange programme.
Knowledge exchange builds relationships and networks. It gives policymakers access to a research community beyond our immediate work. And it provides researchers and evidence providers with insights into the policy process and policy priorities.
Join us for a webinar reflecting on our experience of delivering knowledge exchange across 15 years of the ClimateXChange programme as part of a series of events marking our anniversary.
Stuart Galloway, Professor of Power Systems in the Institute for Energy and Environment at the University of Strathclyde, and Sasha Maguire, Head of Climate Change Analysis with the Office of the Chief Economic Adviser in Scottish Government, will join our Programme Manager Anne-Marte Bergseng to discuss the value of knowledge exchange in supporting evidence-based policy making, share what we know about facilitating it and explore what makes a good question to frame knowledge exchange around.
This event is aimed at those working at all levels of policy, in Scotland and beyond, researchers and evidence providers and anyone interest in nexus of climate research and policy.
