How do ownership models shape the clean energy transition and how do we make sense of the growing calls for public control?
In this session, Stephen D. Agyeman (UKERC / University of Strathclyde) presents an early-stage evidence review exploring the role of public ownership in clean energy systems. Drawing from the intersections of energy justice, responsive research, and systemic reform, this session will explore emerging findings, challenges in the literature, and open up space for critical peer discussion.
This webinar is part of the UKERC x EDRC Early Career Researcher Webinar Series, a relaxed, supportive space for sharing work-in-progress, receiving constructive feedback, and building cross-centre visibility for early career researchers.
Stephen D. Agyeman is currently a Research Associate at the Centre for Energy Policy at University of Strathclyde. Stephen is a researcher in the responsive research function at UKERC Theme 5 leading a Rapid Evidence Assessments including examining the viability and tools to deliver against the goals of the Great British Energy company.
