Review of Energy Policy 2024 Launch

12 December 2024. 12:00

Join us as we launch our flagship publication, the UKERC Review of Energy Policy 2024.

This year, our focus is on identifying the priorities the new government must achieve to reach our energy goals for 2030 and beyond. The government has made its ambitions clear, with announcements on lifting the de facto ban on onshore wind, and announcing the Clean Power Mission for 2030. UKERC’s Review of Energy Policy will span our research programme, covering these topics, as well as mobility, nature and biodiversity, and the equity and infrastructure challenges, to provide a holistic view of how the Labour government can proceed towards system-wide change.

This in-person event will be held at the St David’s Hotel, Cardiff Bay. The event will gather energy researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders for thought-provoking discussions, engaging presentations, and networking opportunities.

Following the launch of the Review, there will be a special panel on the future of Wales’ energy transition.
