The RD20 (Research and Development 20 for Clean Energy Technologies) is a framework that aims to strengthen international collaboration between leading research institutes in the G20 (including UKERC) working towards carbon neutrality.
The 6th RD20 Conference takes place in India, 2-6 December 2024, hosted by TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute) at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi. UKERC is pleased to invite any researchers or other stakeholders to join the open sessions virtually – details of sessions available online can be found on the RD20 website.

RD20 began in Japan in 2019; this year sees
The conference focusses on sharing the latest developments and best practice in the development and rollout of clean technologies across the G20 countries. It also provides an opportunity for international collaboration through joint research, and encourages partnerships between stakeholders from academia, industry and government.
