Inclusion by Design: The Future of Energy Research

EDI+, UKERC, Supergen Energy Networks Hub and IGNITE Networks+ have joined together to deliver an event to showcase of EDI+ Fellowship work and a conversation about inclusion in energy research. This will be a great opportunity to explore the impact of EDI+ Fellowship projects, engage in discussions on inclusive research cultures, and network with researchers, practitioners and sector leaders from across the energy and STEM communities.

Join us and together, we’ll showcase the impactful work of EDI+ Fellows, explore how inclusive research cultures can drive positive change, and strengthen connections across the sector. We’re excited to collaborate with researchers, EDI professionals, funders and sector leaders who are passionate about creating a more equitable and inclusive future for energy research.

Speakers include:

  • Rachel Van Krimpen, Faculty Director of EDI and People (Science), University of Nottingham
  • Simone Abram, Executive Director of Durham Energy Institute, Durham University
  • Jim Flemming, Head of Energy Theme, EPSRC
  • Mustafa Ozbilgin, Associate Dean Equity and Inclusion, Brunel University
  • Helen Stockton, Head of Research, National Energy Action

There is no charge for attending the event. Lunch, tea & coffee will be provided to participants. All food will be vegetarian or vegan. Allergies should be made known to the organisers when you book your ticket.
