The Dennis Anderson Lecture honours the legacy of Professor Dennis Anderson, a pioneer in energy economics and climate policy, whose career spanned senior roles at the World Bank, Royal Dutch Shell, and as an advisor to the Stern Review on the Economics of Climate Change. The series continues to provide a platform for leading voices to shape the UKโs energy future, with past speakers including Professor Jim Skea, Spencer Dale, Ian Marchant, and Rt Hon. the Lord Deben.
This edition is hosted by the UK Energy Research Centre (UKERC) and the Imperial College School of Convergence Science – Sustainability. Named in honour of the late Professor Dennis Anderson, a pioneer in energy economics and climate policy, the lecture provides a platform for leading voices to reflect on the biggest challenges and opportunities in shaping the UKโs energy future.
