Hosted by Isaac Newton Institute for Mathematical Sciences
This Open for Business event is part of an INI programme on the Maths of Human Behaviour. Accurately modelling human behaviour is vital for tackling both pandemics and climate change. Policy makers require data-driven and theoretical knowledge of how people will respond to new events, policies, and opportunities. This event will bring together academic, industry and policy experts to explore how the mathematical and behavioural sciences can help shape health and energy policy.
A schedule of thought-leading presentations, expert panel discussions and networking will encourage innovation and collaboration, shaping the future development of behavioural modelling. Industry and policy experts will have the opportunity to drive novel behavioural research to support their decision making. Researchers can better understand where their work can be most impactful and how to overcome the challenges of effectively communicating outputs in policy-relevant ways.
Presentations will run from 9.30-17.00, followed by a networking event until 18.30. All timings are GMT.
The event will take place at Highfield House, University Park, University of Nottingham: https://maps.app.goo.gl/zPfcGtzs9GZvTney6.
