Green Element is looking for a senior consultant to join their growing Environmental and Sustainability Management team. As part of the role, you will become a key player in their team, helping clients become more sustainable through a variety of service offerings. The primary focus would be on developing strong client relationships, building sustainability and net-zero strategy, drafting TCFD and sustainability report disclosures, carrying out detailed landscape reviews and analysing the results, conducting stakeholder interviews, delivering materiality assessments, compiling KPIs and building options for corporate strategic direction. You will be required to work with businesses in Europe and the US, using your understanding of climate and sustainability development and leveraging your contacts to build a client base.
The role is varied, from workstreams more specifically focused on data, carbon footprints, materiality assessments, KPI development and writing legally required disclosures such as TCFD, to streams more focussed on engagement, such as assessing client needs, carrying out interviews and delivering training sessions. Sales will also be a key part of the role, including helping identify potential clients for Green Element services. As part of your strategy work you will collaborate with the analysis team to set Science Based Targets or conduct Life Cycle Analyses.
The position will support the development of Green Element’s services to clients and the successful candidate will receive extensive guidance from the CEO and Head of Consultancy, while being offered formal training through our online courses and from other third-party sources. Please note that you will be required to attend the Edinburgh office at least 3 days per week.
