Graduate Energy Data Steward

The Energy Data Centre provides a comprehensive information discovery resource focussed on making energy research data, projects and publications available to the community. It supports research outputs to be accessible and reusable thus supporting Open Science and reproducibility aims.

The centre is part of the UK Energy Research Centre (UKERC) project that brings UK researchers together to work on Whole Systems Energy. The small and friendly EDC team develop and maintain both the in-house system and the content within it.

The Energy Data Centre is based within the Technology Department’ Energy Research Unit (ERU). ERU has a long history in energy research and runs a test site with a wind turbine and green ammonia plant. STFC Technology provides technology, engineering and support of both STFC’s facilities and programmes and the wider research programme. The calibre and expertise of our staff enables us to work on a wide range of projects and programmes including microelectronics, accelerators, nuclear physics, cryogenics, energy and major engineering infrastructures.
