Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager

Seeking a part-time Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Manager for the Centre for Research into Energy Demand Solutions (CREDS).

CREDS is a consortium of more than 20 UK institutes with over 130 staff. It wishes to change the way that energy is used by reducing energy demand, improving energy efficiency and enabling flexibility in time of use.

The main duties will include developing and maintaining the CREDS EDI Plan, contributing to the ideas and direction of the plan, undertaking research, and leading the implementation. The successful applicant will lead the planning and implementation of the surveys and analysis needed to monitor the delivery and install a reporting process. You will act as Secretary to the CREDS EDI Working Group, working with the Group’s chair to ensure agenda setting, distribution of papers, minute-taking and following up of actions in a timely manner for the groups’ meetings. You will manage your own activities, involving small scale project management, to coordinate multiple aspects of work to meet deadlines.
