The University of Southampton is seeking to make the appointment to the role of Energy & Laboratory Efficiency Assessment Framework (LEAF) Systems Coordinator.

The Estates & Facilities team ensure that the University has a built and physical environment that supports the activities of a world-class University, across a portfolio of academic, state of the art research, clinical, enterprise, workspace, residential, social amenity, sport and community facilities.  Ambitious plans are afoot with an estates masterplan that will see £1bn of investment in enhancing and delivering a sustainable, inclusive estate over the next decade.

The Energy & LEAF Systems Coordinator will form an integral part of the Sustainability team providing comprehensive and efficient administration support. The post holder will be focussed on maintaining the energy management database and will facilitate the University’s accreditation for the LEAF registration. 

The successful candidate will be organised and diligent, with experience of data management. They will understand the context and need for energy management across large estates. It is desirable for the candidate to have an understanding and experience of the LEAF accreditation process.
