BHF is currently inviting nominations for their BHF Research Professorship scheme. A university is expected to submit no more than one nomination per year; however, in exceptional circumstances and where fully justified, it may submit up to two candidates. Due to this, Imperial will be conducting an internal selection process to choose the most appropriate candidate for nomination.
This year, BHF has opened up the eligibility criteria and individuals are now eligible to be nominated providing they have an internationally competitive track record in a field relevant to the BHF mission and be PI of at least one competitively awarded programme grant or equivalent (from BHF or any other funder), with a minimum of three years of funding remaining. Please see BHF guidance for more details on eligibility.
Internal applications will be reviewed by members of the Research Advisory Group which includes the Vice Provost Research and Enterprise and the Faculty Vice Deans for Research
