Will Eadson is Professor of Urban and Regional Studies at the Centre for Regional Economic and Social Research (CRESR), Sheffield Hallam University. His research focuses on geographies of zero carbon economy, enterprise and innovation. This programme of research has recently included research on low carbon energy supply chains, employment and skills; implications of industrial decarbonisation for work and place; regional hydrogen economies; and on understanding Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) within concern for just transitions. He is currently working on the UKERC GOZERO project which is investigating SME governance for net zero. Previously he has also research and published on community and local energy transitions, and multi-level governance of low carbon transitions. Will’s research has been funded by UK and international research councils, national governments, charities, and local and regional governments.
