Sarah graduated with a PhD in Psychology from the University of Sussex in 2017. Her PhD examined people’s perspectives on who should be responsible for mitigating climate change in the UK and different levels of action. She also investigated the role of experiencing drought in California on perceptions of climate change. Since 2017 she has been working at Cardiff University on UKERC projects. First, she worked on a project looking at British people’s views on who should be responsible for paying for energy transitions. Now, she is exploring public perceptions of heat decarbonisation.
