Dr Ruiyang He is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the School of Engineering, Cardiff University. His research focuses on integrating low-carbon energy systems, with particular emphasis on power system flexibility and long-duration energy storage. He is actively involved in major UK energy research consortia, including HI-ACT, UKERC, and SUPERGEN, where he contributes to whole-system modelling of low-carbon technologies. Dr He has published extensively on topics such as renewable energy system modelling and optimisation.
