Dr Richard Carmichael (CPsychol) is Research Fellow in the Centre for Environmental Policy, and Co-Leader of the Behaviour change in Energy and Environment Policy (‘BEEP’) Research Network, Imperial College London. He has over 15 years’ experience in research and consultancy and has been advisor for several government net zero projects. A Chartered Psychologist, his work focuses on providing and co-producing evidence, advice, tools and strategy to help governments, businesses and households to rapidly and successfully decarbonize and realise co-benefits. Particular areas of interest: energy, technology adoption, peer-to-peer learning, diet and data-led digital tools for stakeholder engagement and decision-support.
