Richard Blundel is Professor of Enterprise and Organisation at The Open University and is a Fellow of the Centre for Understanding Sustainable Prosperity (CUSP), University of Surrey. His research, which focuses on environmental sustainability in SMEs, eco-innovation, and growth processes in craft-based businesses, is published in journals such as Business & Society, Business Strategy and the Environment, Enterprise & Society, and Entrepreneurship & Regional Development. Richard co-authored two recent reports with Sam Hampton for the UK’s Enterprise Research Centre, which review the latest evidence on SMEs and Net Zero and Eco-Innovation and Green Start-ups. He was also co-lead for the ESRC Impact Acceleration project ‘Growing Greener’, with the University of Oxford and Climate Outreach, which developed an online course and toolkit for small business advisors.
