Nick Eyre is Emeritus Professor of Energy and Climate Policy at the Environmental Change Institute. He is the former Director of the Centre for Research into Energy Demand Solutions, which was UKRI’s main investment into research on energy use. He was a founding Director of Zero-Carbon Energy Oxford (the ZERO Institute) and previously a Co-Director of the Oxford Martin Programme on Integrating Renewable Energy. His main research interests are the role of changes in energy demand and local action to delivering sustainable energy systems.
