Prof Judith Evans has 30 years of experience of working on food refrigeration operations throughout the food cold chain. Her main areas of interest are related to efficiency and energy reduction as well as design and performance of refrigeration equipment.
Judith has published 126 papers, four books and 15 book chapters. She has been responsible for over £11M in funding from the European Commission, EPSRC, NGOs and development agencies. She is also president of the International Institute of Refrigeration’s Section C commission – Biology and food technology, and an editor of Journal of Food Engineering.
