Jamie Rickman is a Research Fellow at the Institute for Sustainable Resources, University College London (2020-present). Jamie is the lead researcher on the ERC-funded LINKS project focusing on the role of the financial system in the low-carbon transition. The LINKS project uses network models and a complexity systems perspective to explore the structure and dynamics of low-carbon finance markets.
Jamie carried out her PhD (2015-2019) at the Francis Crick Institute where she studied complex, self-organising biophysical systems. She was educated at Imperial College London where she took an MSci in Physics and UCL where she took an MRes in modelling complex systems. Her research interests now lie in applying complexity thinking to the area of climate finance and renewable energy markets.
