Amber holds an undergraduate degree in zoology from UCL and has worked as a research assistant across the tropics, from Central America to Southeast Asia. Through her Master of Research degree in tropical forest ecology, she developed an interest in how the valuation of biodiversity and ecosystem services can incentivise climate action.
Passionate about sustainability, Amber volunteers as a researcher for Giki Zero where she engages consumers in making the necessary behavioural changes for a transition to low-carbon economy.
Prior to UKERC, Amber worked at Imperial College London in the Student Financial Support team on widening participation to under-represented student groups.
